Les masculinity studies naissent à la fin des années 1980 en réaction à des approches «essentialisantes» autour du masculin développées jusqu’alors en sociologie (ainsi que dans la majorité des sciences sociales) et proposent un renouvellement des cadres d’analyse autour de la catégorie sociale des hommes.
This study, commissioned by the European Parliament’s Policy Department for Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs at the request of the FEMM Committee, outlines and assesses the impacts of social media on women and girls, on gender equality, and on democracy and civic participation more generally.
The advantages and disadvantages of single-sex schooling continue to be a source of policy and public debate. Previous empirical evidence is somewhat ambiguous, with some studies finding a positive impact of single-sex schooling on education achievement and others finding no differences across school types. The relationship between single-sex schooling on academic outcomes is typically problematic to examine, as in most countries single-sex schools are selective and the numbers attending them are relatively small.
This book presents medical evidence of the benefits of responsible, committed fatherhood to children; to fathers; and to families, which means that is of much relevance also for society and organizations.
This book, partially, follows the structure of the Expert meeting we hold online in 2021. As already mentioned, the Expert meeting was designed to foster interdisci- plinary discussion. The aim was to enable cross learning that would allow us to reach conclusions in ever field enlightened by other fields and perspectives.
